An Efficient Side View Video in Video Watermarking (SVVV) Using Multiresolution Transform and Principle Component Analysis

Digital Watermarking is the process of hiding a logo or predefined pattern into multimedia contents like image, audio or video.This technique is becoming popular, especially for adding unnoticeable identifying marks, such as author or copyright information.In this paper, an efficient side view video preprocessing based watermarking technique using Multiresolution Transform and Principal Component Analysis (PCA) has been proposed. This new approach uses two of the most robust watermarking methods: Multiresolution Transform and the PCA to be applied on the pre-processed(side-view) cover video. The proposed algorithm is a blind watermarking algorithm, means that the receiver need not have the original host data in order to extract the watermarked data from the received video. The experimental results shows that, the algorithm run with good imperceptibility levels, with PSNR value 40 and also robust against most attacks when compared to the existing video watermarking techniques.
